Individual Therapy for Moms
Counseling can be helpful at any stage of motherhood. Becoming Mothers Counseling offers several modalities of individual therapy for moms, including Self-Compassion and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and EMDR Therapy.
These holistic and evidence-based treatments are effective for a wide range of prenatal and postpartum issues, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, birth preparation, processing a traumatic labor and delivery, postpartum depression, relationship building with baby / partner, or general mental health challenges that come on during motherhood and cause feelings of overwhelm.
